Took advantage of cool weather & fished the mid-section of the delayed-harvest section. Water level was slightly above normal for the time of year. Water temperature was a COOL 61 degrees. Around 8:00 PM caddis (#10) started to emerge in fair numbers. The trout were enjoying the feast. Managed to hook a few on #12 Adams. Switched to pheasant tail nympths. Also, used hares ear & a number of NO-NAMERS. Really didn't matter what I used. FISHING WAS GREAT. Watching the trout feed was even better. Next 30-day period will determing if stream conditions will support a good holdover. REMEMBER .... TO CRUSH THOSE BARBS. (I must admit that on one occassion I didn't practice what i preach.)
