If the weather stays hot this will be the last place to pursue trout. Caddis hatch in the evening and there are always a few fish rising. The hot summer will take it's toll on these waters so plan a visit in the next two weeks.
I like fishing the dam area as the water is more oxygenated. Try standard nymphs, streamer, caddis emergers and dry flies. In case we get more significant rains, you can check on gate conditons at 724 962 4384. 2 gates open is ideal for flyfishing, 3 gates is good. After that, find a pond.
