conditions: water clear and somewhat low
hatches: A few stone flies and caddis also saw my first mayfly
of the year.
fishing quality: not fast but managed to bring a few to hand
pattern: nymphs in a light color dubbing. A pattern I have named the
"Neshannock Special"
caught a nice fish in fast water. Had to work for her, got my rod caught in
a tree then almost took a header in the drink, darn moss covered rocks,but
brought the bow to hand made it all worthwhile. The anglers down below me
that watched the show, sorry for the comic act, never was very graceful. |
