| The Report |
Visited stream around 10:30 am and fished until 6:00 pm. Stream is high but not overly full. Water temperature still very cold - 46 degrees. Fished from the walking bridge to the top of the Delay Harvest Area. Lots of fisherman....lots. But the stream fished well. Water clarity was excellent. Some small midges coming off sporadically through the afternoon. Fish responding to BWO size 24 for the midges. The remainder of the fish caught on nymphs....nothing particular was working better than anything else when it came to the nymphs. The fishing were generally a little on the slow side to the coldness of the water. You really had to get the fly in their face to get the take.
