Visited lower section of stream to check on trout stocked by Munnell Run Trout Nursery personnel this past Monday. Talked to several fly fishermen. Four young guys from the Pittsburgh area caught approximately 40 trout, all rainbows. Observed seven fishermen enjoying a good day on the stream. Also, observed a few stoneflies launching from streamside shrubery onto the water surface.
Once again, we are asking fishermen to PLEASE USE BARBLESS HOOKS. IF YOU HAVE BARBED HOOKS, IT TAKES LITTLE EFFORT TO 'PINCH BACK THE BARB'.
